The update comes after Ronan opened up on the hospitalisation, claiming that Keith was on a “downward spiral.”

Speaking on Magic Breakfast – which he co-hosts with Harriet Scott – Ronan said: “He took ill before the show, he just went on a downward spiral.

“He came to the gig, he had a really high temperature, the doctors arrived at the gig and they said it wasn’t possible for him to go on in the state he was in.”

Revealing that the cause of the hospitalisation had not yet been confirmed, he continued: “We assumed it was food poisoning or something like that but there may be something else going on.

“We’re waiting to hear back on the blood tests and to see if he can travel so we’re hoping he can get on a plane in Thailand tonight and get [to Australia] for tomorrow.”
