Heavily pregnant Meghan Markle misses Easter Sunday service as Prince Harry arrives alongside Kate Middleton and Prince William

Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry have gathered for a Easter Sunday church service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Prince Harry made a solo appearance without pregnant wife Meghan Markle at the service as she prepares to welcome their first child.

The service, which falls on the Queen’s 93rd birthday, took place at Windsor Castle, with no sign of Meghan amid reports she is "nesting" ahead of giving birth.

Kate Middleton looked stunning in a baby blue coat with matching hat as she joined her husband for the service.

Earlier in the day, members of the royal family took to their social media platforms to wish the monarch a happy birthday, with Meghan and Harry sharing a series of snaps on their new Instagram page.

Alongside the images, the royal couple wrote: "Happy Birthday Your Majesty, Ma’am, Granny. Wishing you the most wonderful day! Harry & Meghan."

The Kensington Palace Twitter account also wrote: "Wishing a very happy 93rd birthday to Her Majesty The Queen!"

Meanwhile it's believed Meghan and Harry are counting down the days until they welcome their first child together, with the couple previously announcing they will be celebrating the arrival of their child privately before sharing the news with the world.

A statement on behalf of the couple read: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby.

"Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private.

"The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family."

It was previously claimed that 37-year-old Meghan was favouring a home birth after leaving Kensington Palace for Windsor and moving into Frogmore Cottage with husband Harry.
