  • The death toll from the terror attacks at two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch has risen to 50, authorities said.
  • New Zealand Police Commissioner Mike Bush says 50 others were injured, 36 of whom remain in hospital, and 11 in critical condition, including a four-year-old child.
  • A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged with murder. He appeared in court Saturday morning, where he was identified as Australian citizen Brenton Tarrant.
  • Two other people were arrested at the scene, one of whom has been released and another who remains in custody but is not believed to be involved in the attacks.

The death toll for the deadly terror attack that targeted two mosques in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand, on Friday rose to 50, Police Commissioner Mike Bush said in a press conference Sunday morning.
